Dr. Ingrid Motes and Dr. Jorge Colón were awarded with the ACS Outstanding Global Partnership Award 2023

On Tuesday, August 15, 2023, the 25th Annual ChemLuminary Awards ceremony took place at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis. The event kicked off with a poster session and reception and was followed by the awards presentations by 22 committees of the Society. One of the awards presented was the Best Local Section Women Chemists Event/Activity Award, which was given to the Puerto Rico Local Section. This award was handed to Dr. Ingrid Montes (former president of ACS-PR) and Dr. Jorge Colon (Treasurer) from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras campus.
