Capstone (Senior Thesis)

Description

All students in the Natural Sciences Interdisciplinary Studies (CNEI, in Spanish) program carry out a science research project to fulfill the degree’s capstone requirement. During the first course, CNEI 4011, students attend workshops, conferences and receive individualized mentoring for the preparation of the interdisciplinary science research proposal. The proposal will be presented in written and oral form at the end of the semester.

During the second course, CNEI 4012, students carry out the proposed project. At the end of the semester, they will present their results by writing a senior thesis, in scientific paper format, and present their projects in the CNEI Capstone poster session.
