Graduate student Dionne M. Hernandez-Lugo has been selected to the NASA Pathways Intern Program
Our graduate student, Dionne M. Hernandez-Lugo, has been selected to the NASA Pathways Intern Program in the Research and Technology Directorate at John H. Glenn Research Center at Lewis Field in Cleveland, Ohio. Dionne will form part of the Electrochemistry Branch where she will be working on Li-Air and Li-ion battery technology.
Dionne obtained her B.S. in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico in Humacao and is on the senior year of her Ph.D. with her thesis on “Nanostructure Composite Materials for Electrochemical Systems”. She has been participated many NASA programs through he NASA-URC Center for Advance Nanoscale Material (CANM). She is the recipient of the NASA Harriet Jenkins Pre-doctoral Fellowship, and last year was selected as a NASA Ambassador.
