ABSTRACT

This presentation will discuss the mission of the Domestic Nuclear Detection Office, with emphasis on its research mission to develop new capabilities supporting the Global Nuclear Detection Architecture (GNDA). This will include an overview of how DNDO’s research mission is organized, current research and research priorities, and a summary of current research efforts (i.e. 3He replacement, new scintillation materials, and advance technology development) and other opportunities supported by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
