The Puerto Rico Science, Technology and Research Trust has made a Call for Proposals (request for proposals) for its research grants for up to $150,000.00 for a year (see http://prsciencetrust.org/rfp). The intent letter is due at the end of this month (October 26). This is the second round of these proposals. In the first round Dr. Carlos Cabrera of our Department of Chemistry obtained one of the 12 approved grants.

This Wednesday October 14 at 11:30 am at Amphitheater A-211 Dr. Marianyoly Ortiz, Specialist of the Grants Program of the Puerto Rico Science, Technology and Research Trust, will be offering an orientation about this program to professors of our College of Natural Sciences.
