We are a curiosity-driven computational research group combining quantum chemistry, artificial intelligence, and physical chemistry principles for the rational design of chemical systems across catalysis, electronics, energy storage, photochemistry, and quantum materials.

We translate quantum calculations into chemical models to explain long-standing and modern problems in chemistry, understanding how electrons move and behave within molecules. This approach aims to predict and accelerate the discovery of functional molecules and materials, pushing their chemistry into “rule-violating” regimes.

We actively collaborate with experimental groups with different backgrounds and expertise. We believe that the progress in chemistry lies in the synergy between computation and experiment. We also build strategic partnerships with industry, with an emphasis on sustainable solutions to real-world chemical challenges.
