PREREQUISITE: ENGLISH 3103-3104. A WIDE RANGE OF SCIENTIFIC READINGS ON DIFFERENT THEMES. TRIALS ON THESE MATERIALS WITH SPECIAL ATTENTION TO THE COMPOSITION AND DRAFTING OF DESCRIPTIVE AND ANALYTICAL REPORTS AND THEORETICAL TRIALS WITH AN EMPHASIS ON SYNTHESIZING THE DATA PROVIDED BY SCIENTIFIC MATERIALS OF VARIOUS AUTHORS.

ESGE 3038: DRAFTING IN ENGLISH: REFLECTION AND REASONING
PREREQUISITE: BASIC ENGLISH OR ITS EQUIVALENT
COURSE REQUIREMENT FOR THE COMPONENT OF CONCENTRATION OF THE BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN GENERAL STUDIES. USING THE DRAFTING METHOD AS A PROCESS (WRITING AS A PROCESS APPROACH, WPA IN ENGLISH), THIS COURSE IS CRITICALLY ABOUT THE DOMINANT DISCOUNTS, THE USES OF LANGUAGE AND PRACTICES THAT ARE IDEOLOGICAL LEADERSHIP AND CONSTITUTE POWERFUL LAWS REALITY, WITH THE PURPOSE OF DISCOVERING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LANGUAGE, THOUGHT AND SOCIAL PRACTICES. IT IS AN INTERDISCIPLINARY COURSE THAT INTEGRATES LITERATURE, LANGUAGE, COGNOSCITIVE SCIENCES AND OTHER AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE TO PROBLEM TO SPEECH. PROCESS OF REASONING AND LINGUISTIC CONSTRUCTION IN THE PRODUCTION OF ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL WRITINGS; PRINCIPLES OF THEORY OF WRITTEN COMMUNICATION; THEORY AND PRACTICE OF PLANNING, LIMITATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF GOVERNING IDEAS; COHERENT STRUCTURING AND REVIEW OF EXPOSURE WRITINGS.
ESPA 3208: DRAFTING AND STYLE
PREREQUISITE: ESPA 3211-3212 OR CONCURRENTLY. IT IS A PRACTICAL COURSE OF DRAFTING AND COMPOSITION THAT COVER FROM THE DRAFTING OF SIMPLE PRAYER TO THAT OF THE COMPLETE TRIAL. EMPHASIS WILL BE PUT ON THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES OF THE STYLE: CLARITY, PRECISION, COHERENCE, CORRECTION AND SOBRIETY AND THE ENRICHMENT OF THE VOCABULARY WILL BE TREATED.
PREH 4655: ADVANCED EDITING SKILLS IN ENGLISH
PREREQUISITE: ENGLISH PROFICIENCY ADVANCED EDITING SKILLS IN ENGLISH, WHICH EMPHASIZES THE CONSCIOUS AND DELIBERATED USE OF THEM TO ACHIEVE DEFINED EDITING OBJECTIVES.
