Research
Supramolecular chemistry is all about how molecules interact with each other under different environments. Our expertise in organic synthesis, self-assembly and responsive materials give our research group the appropriate perspective to apply such concepts towards the development of new tools to study biological systems primarily at the molecular and cellular scales. These efforts offer the opportunity to learn fundamental aspects of the structure and dynamics of synthetic supramolecules in complex biological environments, which could in turn have long term implications to improve human health. https://riveralabupr.org/research/
