Those allergens and irritants cause the conjunctiva to swell and symptoms of eye allergies to occur.<\/p><p>Common symptoms include:<\/p><ul><li>red, irritated, teary and itchy eyes<\/li><li>burning<\/li><li>eyelid swelling<\/li><li>blurred vision<\/li><li>sensitivity to<\/li><\/ul><p>Hot, dry weather dries out the eyes and makes eye allergy symptoms worse.<\/p><h3>What can cause eye allergies?<\/h3><p>Allergens and irritants can cause allergic conjunctivitis.
