This past week, undergraduates, post-baccalaureate, and graduate students came together to present their latest scientific findings, making it another great year. One of the aims of these conference is to encourage collaboration and innovation among participants.\u00a0<\/p><p>This year\u2019s program included <strong>three keynote lectures<\/strong> by professors and researchers from\u00a0 institutions outside of Puerto Rico, <strong>poster presentations<\/strong><em>, <strong>1 minute talks <\/strong><\/em>and <strong>awards<\/strong><em>.<\/em> Students from several venues such as: UPR-R\u00edo Piedras, UPR-Mayag\u00fcez, UPR-Humacao UPR-Cayey, UPR-Medical Sciences Campus and private institutions such as Universidad Ana G. M\u00e9ndez de Gurabo and the <span class=\"TextRun SCXW241520313 BCX0\" lang=\"ES-PR\" xml:lang=\"ES-PR\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW241520313 BCX0\">Universidad Interamericana de Ponce<\/span><\/span> were given the task of being part of this great annual event. An approximate total of 200 people attended the event.<\/p><p>The seminars given by these researchers benefited those who were present.<\/p><ul><li><strong>Marcy Kingsbury, PhD<\/strong>, Department of Pediatrics, Harvard Medical School. \u201cHow perinatal stressors and inflammatory events shape the developing nervous and gastrointestinal systems of offspring\u201d.<\/li><li><strong>Luca Busino, PhD, <\/strong>Department of Cancer Biology at the University of Pennsylvania. \u201cFrom Unraveling DCAF15 Function to Rational Design of Degraders\u201d.<\/li><li><strong>Alejandra Medina Rivera, PhD<\/strong>, International Human Genome Research Laboratory. \u201cUnlocking the power of community data: LupusRGMX and immune cell research In LATAM\u201d.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section The task given to this group was to organize an event to promote research, which would ultimately create a professional and growth space for the university
