Other Admission Requirements at the UPR Medical Sciences Campus<\/a><\/dt>

  1. A minimum general academic index of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale.<\/li>\n
  2. A minimum average academic index of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale in Sciences. This requirement includes Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Physics.<\/li>\n
  3. All applicants must take the Pharmacy College Admission Test<\/a> (PCAT) in or before the month of February during the year in which admission is being applied for. This exam is offered each year during the months of January, June, August and October.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Test applications are available at the Student Affairs Office in the School of Pharmacy or can be requested by mail at:<\/p>\n

    1. Three letters of recommendation are required; two of these should be from the professors at the College of Natural Sciences.<\/li>\n
    2. Applicants must complete a written essay on a subject determined by the School’s Admissions Board.\u00a0 This provides students with the opportunity to express their understanding on matters related to the health system, the pharmacy career or social issues, among others. The date, time and place of this exam is determined by the Admissions Board.<\/li>\n
