Investigadora: <\/strong>Dra. Bonny M. Ortiz Andrade<\/span><\/h2>

La Dra. Bonny M. Ortiz Andrade es natural de \u00cdquira, Huila- Colombia. La Dra. Ortiz finaliz\u00f3 en el 2003 su bachillerato de Licenciatura en Biolog\u00eda y Qu\u00edmica en la Universidad Surcolombiana, en el 2012 finaliz\u00f3 su maestr\u00eda en Ecolog\u00eda y Gesti\u00f3n de Ecosistemas Estrat\u00e9gicos en la Universidad Surcolombiana y complet\u00f3 su Ph.D en \u00a0Educaci\u00f3n Cient\u00edfica \u00a0en la Universidad de Puerto Rico, Recinto de R\u00edo Piedras en el 2018. La Dra. Ortiz ha sido reconocida por varias de sus actividades para la comunicaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica interdisciplinaria en la Universidad de Puerto Rico y ha ense\u00f1ado algunos cursos que incluyen Biolog\u00eda, Qu\u00edmica, Qu\u00edmica Instrumental y Biolog\u00eda General. Actualmente, la Dra. Ortiz es Coordinadora para la comunicaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica, colabora con la vicepresidencia de asuntos acad\u00e9micos e investigaciones, trabaja para el Centro de Ciencia e Ingenier\u00eda y como Asesora en educaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica y en la comunicaci\u00f3n de la ciencia como parte del proyecto CAHREUS. Adem\u00e1s, escribe para varios diarios para visibilizar la investigaci\u00f3n y la innovaci\u00f3n en la Universidad de Puerto Rico. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

Researcher: <\/strong>Dr. Bonny M. Ortiz Andrade<\/span><\/h2>

Dr. Bonny M. Ortiz Andrade is\u00a0 native of \u00cdquira, Huila- Colombia. Dr. Ortiz finished her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry at the Universidad Surcolombiana in 2003, in 2012 she finished her master’s degree in Ecology and Management of Strategic Ecosystems at the Universidad Surcolombiana and completed her Ph.D. in Science Education at the University of Puerto Rico R\u00edo Piedras Campus in 2018. Dr. Ortiz has been recognized for several of her activities for interdisciplinary scientific communication at the University of Puerto Rico and has taught some courses that include Biology, Chemistry, Instrumental Chemistry, and Biology General. Currently, Dr. Ortiz is the Coordinator for scientific communication, collaborates with the vice-presidency of academic affairs and research, works for the Center for Science and Engineering, and\u00a0 Advisor in science education and science communication as part of the CAHREUS project. She also writes for several newspapers to make research and innovation visible at the University of Puerto Rico.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
