Investigadora: <\/strong>Dra. Lorell Mu\u00f1oz<\/span><\/h2>

La Dra. Lorell Mu\u00f1oz-Hern\u00e1ndez es profesora adjunta de qu\u00edmica org\u00e1nica en la UPR-RP. Complet\u00f3 su bachillerato en Qu\u00edmica en la UPR-Humacao y recibi\u00f3 su doctorado en Qu\u00edmica Org\u00e1nica de la UPR-R\u00edo Piedras. La Dra. Mu\u00f1oz tiene amplia experiencia en la ense\u00f1anza de cursos de conferencia y laboratorio de Qu\u00edmica Org\u00e1nica. Sus intereses de investigaci\u00f3n se centran en la comprensi\u00f3n de c\u00f3mo los estudiantes aprenden qu\u00edmica y el desarrollo de planes de estudio, materiales pedag\u00f3gicos y estrategias de ense\u00f1anza eficaces. Adem\u00e1s de su trabajo acad\u00e9mico, la Dra. Mu\u00f1oz ha participado en el dise\u00f1o de actividades de qu\u00edmica atractivas y accesibles para estudiantes de K-12, as\u00ed como en la realizaci\u00f3n de talleres de qu\u00edmica en l\u00ednea y presenciales para estudiantes y profesores. Tambi\u00e9n es coautora de un manual de actividades para estudiantes de octavo curso, que presenta experimentos de qu\u00edmica f\u00e1ciles y divertidos que pueden realizarse con materiales de bajo coste y f\u00e1ciles de conseguir.<\/span>

Researcher: <\/strong>Dra. Lorell Mu\u00f1oz<\/span><\/h2>

Dr.\u00a0<\/span>Lorell<\/span>\u00a0Mu\u00f1oz-Hern\u00e1ndez is an adjunct professor of organic chemistry at UPR-RP. She completed her BS degree in chemistry at UPR-Humacao and received her Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from UPR-Rio Piedras. Dr. Mu\u00f1oz has extensive experience teaching organic chemistry conference and laboratory courses. Her research interests focus on understanding how students learn chemistry and the development of curricula, pedagogic materials, and effective teaching strategies. In addition to her academic work, Dr. Mu\u00f1oz has been involved in designing engaging and accessible chemistry activities for K-12 students, as well as conducting online and in-person chemistry workshops for both students and teachers. She also co-authored an activity manual for eighth-grade students, which features fun and easy chemistry experiments that can be done using low-cost and readily available materials.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
