[accordion title=”Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI)” load=”hide”]The Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) Education Grant Program seeks to enhance the quality of undergraduate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education, and also to increase the recruitment, retention, and graduation rates of the students that are pursuing associate’s or baccalaureate degrees in STEM at Hispanic-Serving Institutions. These HSI undergraduates and graduates are also supported for training, internship, research and further educational opportunities to prepare them for success in the workforce. Additionally, the HSI Education Grant Program seeks to build capacity in undergraduate and graduate STEM education that doesn’t normally receive high levels of National Science Foundation (NSF) grant funding. This program is aligned with the commitment of the NSF to increase access for the underrepresented groups to the Nation’s STEM enterprise.
